| Presentation abstract: | In version 8 and 9, Oracle introduced rollups, cubes and grouping sets. These extensions are by far not as well known as the traditional grouping. However, they do provide a wealth of new power to the job of aggregating. This session shows how they work, how to calculate with them, which supporting functions exist, how to interpret their execution plan and when they provide better performance. |
